HID Mobile Access® is licensed on a per-user subscription basis via the HID Origo™ Management Portal. Choose the Essentials or Enterprise tier based on your feature needs, in a 1-year or 3-year term. Unlimited Mobile IDs are automatically provisioned for every licensed user.
What Is a HID Mobile Access License?
A HID Mobile Access license is a per-user subscription that grants one employee the ability to receive, store, and use digital Mobile IDs on their smartphone or wearable — managed through the HID Origo™ Management Portal. Once your organisation holds an active license, HID automatically generates and replenishes unlimited Mobile IDs for each licensed user.
Licenses are purchased per user — not per device. Each active user in your Origo portal consumes one license. You can add licences during a subscription term at a prorated cost, and renew them annually or every three years.
Licenses are available in two tiers — Essentials and Enterprise — each with a distinct feature set. Both tiers are available in 1-year and 3-year subscription terms, with a minimum order quantity of 20 licenses.

Both tiers are available in 1-year and 3-year terms. Decide based on your feature requirements — you cannot switch tiers mid-term.

How to Buy HID Mobile Access License
Register on HID Origo Portal
Create your organisation account at portal.origo.hidglobal.com. You will receive your Organisation ID and Mobile Keyset (MOB) — both are required to place a license order. First-time users can activate a free 90-day trial with 100 Mobile IDs.
Choose Tier and Term
Select Essentials (MID-SUB-T050 / T053) if you need single-format, Tap-only, single-device access. Choose Enterprise (MID-SUB-T100 / T103) for Twist & Go, multiple devices, analytics, and multi-format support. Select 1-year or 3-year term. Note: you cannot downgrade mid-term.
Contact Cybernetics Software to Place Order
Provide your Organisation ID, Organisation Name, Mobile Keyset, Credential Format, user count, and desired tier. Cybernetics as authorised HID NAS Partner places the order with HID — the service starts from the date HID processes the order.
Issue Mobile IDs to Users
Once the subscription is active, issue Mobile IDs to users via the Origo portal by email invitation. Users install the HID Mobile Access app or add to Apple / Google Wallet and immediately gain access.

3-Year vs 1-Year: The 3-year term (T053 / T103) typically offers a lower per-year cost than three separate 1-year orders. Suitable when the Mobile Access deployment is confirmed long-term.
What Every Buyer Should Know
Unlimited Mobile IDs Per User
You do not buy individual Mobile IDs — you buy user licenses. HID automatically generates and replenishes an unlimited number of Mobile IDs for each licensed user as long as the subscription is active.
Add-On Licenses Are Prorated
If you add more users mid-term, add-on licenses (T050-ADD or T100-ADD) are priced based on the number of whole months remaining. They co-terminate with your existing contract — you always renew everything together.
Upgrade Mid-Term Is Possible
Upgrading from Essentials to Enterprise mid-term is allowed under certain conditions. This generates a new contract ID. However, downgrading from Enterprise to Essentials can only be done at renewal.
One Subscription Plan at a Time
An organisation cannot hold more than one HID Mobile Access subscription plan simultaneously. All users must be on the same tier — you cannot mix Essentials and Enterprise within a single Origo account.
Free Trial — 100 IDs, 90 Days
New organisations can activate a free Trial Subscription via the Origo portal on first login — 100 Mobile IDs valid for 90 days. Mobile-Ready readers must be installed. Only the TRK-H10301 format is supported for trials.
Organisation ID Required to Order
Every license order requires your HID Organisation ID, Organisation Name, Mobile Keyset (MOB or ICE), and Credential Format. These are assigned when you create your Origo account. Keep them safe — they are needed for all future orders.
