What Is HID Mobile Access®?
HID Mobile Access® is a complete mobile credentialing solution that turns iOS and Android smartphones — and wearables like the Apple Watch — into secure, digital access credentials. Powered by HID's industry-leading Seos® technology, it communicates with compatible readers using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and NFC, replacing traditional plastic access cards across every use case.
The entire credential lifecycle — issuance, permissions management, and revocation — is handled remotely through the HID Origo™ Management Portal, eliminating the cost and friction of physical card printing, distribution, and collection.
With support for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, employees can carry their corporate badge alongside their payment cards — using the same device tap they use every day.
Admin Issues Credentials via Origo Portal
Add users individually or upload a CSV. The system sends an invitation link automatically — no face-to-face needed.
User Installs App or Adds to Wallet
The user taps the link to install the HID Mobile Access app, or adds the badge to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Tap
Hold your phone close to the reader — just like tapping a contactless card. For Android, NFC provides the fastest response; for iOS, Tap uses BLE. Recommended for high-security, high-traffic entry points where a deliberate access action is required.
Twist & Go
Walk toward the reader and rotate your wrist — the door unlocks before you reach it. Powered by BLE's extended range, this hands-free mode is perfect for loading docks, car park barriers, and environments where stopping to present a card is impractical.
Configuration note: Both modes are configurable per reader using the HID Reader Manager app. CSPL's engineering team configures read ranges and mode selection during installation and can adjust them at any time.
