Models 20 · 20K · 40 · 40K — BLE + NFC + 125kHz + OSDP
HID Signo™ is the signature reader line from HID Global — supporting over 15 credential technologies from a single device. Native BLE for HID Mobile Access, Apple ECP for Apple Wallet, OSDP Secure Channel, and a hardware EAL5+ secure element make it the most capable access control reader available.
The HID Signo™ reader is HID Global's signature next-generation access control reader — engineered from the ground up to support every credential technology in use today, while being fully ready for future technologies. It is the natural upgrade path from iCLASS SE and multiCLASS SE readers.
All Signo readers are mobile-ready out of the box — native Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for HID Mobile Access credentials and Apple's Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP) for Employee Badge in Apple Wallet. Unlike earlier readers, no firmware update or add-on module is needed for mobile credential support.
What sets Signo apart is its remote management capability via HID Reader Manager® — the reader can be configured, updated, and decommissioned from a mobile device or over OSDP without physically touching each unit.
Slim mullion-mount reader for door-frame installation. Minimal footprint, full technology support.
Mullion-mount with integrated 2×6 keypad for PIN + card two-factor authentication in a slim form.
Wide single-gang switch-box mount for standard wall installations. Full credential support, no keypad.
Wide single-gang mount with 3×4 keypad layout. Standard PIN+card two-factor with maximum install flexibility.
Native Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and NFC support HID Mobile Access credentials out of the box — no firmware update, no add-on Bluetooth module required.
BLE + NFC NativeApple Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP) enables Employee Badge in Apple Wallet to work seamlessly — iPhone and Apple Watch are detected immediately when approaching the reader.
Express Mode ReadyAES-128 encrypted, bidirectional OSDP v2 communication between reader and controller — preventing eavesdropping, tampering, and credential replay attacks on the reader-to-controller line.
OSDP v2 AES-128Cryptographic keys are stored on a Common Criteria EAL5+ certified hardware secure element — the same security grade used in high-security banking and government identity devices.
CC EAL5+One reader handles the entire credential landscape — from legacy 125kHz HID Proximity and Indala to modern Seos, DESFire EV3, MIFARE Classic, and Mobile IDs.
Past + Present + FutureConfigure, update firmware, personalize audio-visual settings, load the Mobile Keyset, and deactivate legacy credential types — all remotely via the HID Reader Manager mobile app, without touching each reader.
Remote ManagementUL294 outdoor-rated and IP65 sealed for dust and water resistance — suitable for external doors, car park barriers, loading docks, and any outdoor installation without a protective housing.
IP65 / UL294Integrated 125kHz support means existing HID Proximity cardholders can continue to use their cards during transition. Deactivate legacy credential types via Reader Manager once migration is complete.
125kHz Legacy SupportSigno's hardware is designed to support future credential technologies through firmware updates — the physical reader installed today can be adapted as new standards emerge.
Firmware UpdatableSeos-powered Mobile IDs via BLE. Tap and Twist & Go modes. Apple Watch & Wear OS. Apple Wallet (ECP) & Google Wallet.
HID's highest-security smart card credential — same Seos technology as Mobile IDs. Typical read range: 4–10 cm.
Full iCLASS family support — SE, SR (reduced security), and original iCLASS contactless smart card formats.
NXP DESFire high-security contactless smart cards — widely used in European access, transport, and campus deployments.
Legacy NXP MIFARE Classic 1K and 4K support for backward compatibility during migration projects.
All major 125 kHz proximity card formats — enabling migration projects where existing prox cardholders need to continue working.

iCLASS SE readers required a separate Bluetooth module upgrade for mobile access. Signo has BLE and NFC built in from the factory — no upgrades, no add-on SKUs.
Signo adds Apple ECP support that iCLASS SE never had — enabling Employee Badge in Apple Wallet with Express Mode without any additional hardware.
Signo's hardware secure element is certified to EAL5+ — a higher security certification than earlier readers, providing stronger protection for cryptographic keys.
HID Reader Manager lets installers configure every Signo reader remotely — no more physically touching each reader to change settings or update firmware.
Signo readers share compatible part number mapping with iCLASS SE readers — swap existing SE readers for Signo without changing back-box wiring or controller configuration.
Signo's adaptable hardware platform is designed to support future credential technologies through firmware — protecting the hardware investment over a multi-year horizon.
HID Signo is not a plug-in reader — it requires correct credential format configuration, Mobile Keyset loading, OSDP setup, and integration with your controller. Cybernetics handles the complete project.
Cybernetics is an authorised HID Networked Access Solutions Partner — supplying, installing, and supporting HID Signo readers and the full HID ecosystem across India.
We have deployed iCLASS SE and now Signo readers at hundreds of Indian sites — we know every wiring variant, firmware issue, and configuration edge case.
From site assessment and reader selection to Reader Manager activation, Mobile Keyset loading, OSDP configuration, and iSecure / third-party ACS integration — Cybernetics delivers the complete project.
Every Signo reader needs its Mobile Keyset loaded before it can read Mobile IDs or Apple Wallet credentials. Our engineers do this at site — using HID Reader Manager so you're live from day one.
We integrate Signo readers with our own iSecure platform and with Lenel, C•CURE 9000, Honeywell Pro-Watch, and other certified Mercury-based systems.
Upgrading from iCLASS SE to Signo? We plan the transition — same wiring, compatible part number mapping, no big-bang cutover required.
From DLF housing societies and IT campuses to manufacturing plants — Cybernetics has deployed HID readers at sites of every scale across India.
We supply HID Mobile Access Essentials and Enterprise license subscriptions alongside Signo hardware — one vendor, one invoice, one deployment team.
Offices in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Dubai — Cybernetics can scope, supply, and install Signo readers across all major Indian cities.
Cybernetics will supply, install, activate, and configure every reader — from Mobile Keyset to iSecure integration.
