HID Mobile Credentials in Google Wallet — secure, NFC-powered door access on every Android
HID Global's Seos-powered mobile credentials stored directly in Google Wallet let employees, tenants, and guests open doors, elevators, turnstiles, and more — by simply holding their Android phone near a compatible HID reader. No separate app to open. No card to carry.
HID Mobile Credentials in Google Wallet are Seos-powered digital access badges stored directly inside Google Wallet on an Android device. Announced in April 2024, the integration allows employees, tenants, and guests to use their existing Android phone — or a Wear OS smartwatch — as a fully functional, enterprise-grade access credential for doors, elevators, turnstiles, and more.
The credential is issued remotely by an administrator through the HID Origo Management Portal. Once added to Google Wallet, the user simply holds their phone near a compatible HID Signo or iCLASS SE reader. The NFC communication is secured with HID's Seos encryption — the same technology used in HID's highest-security physical smart cards.
The solution adds the privacy and security features built into Android phones on top of Seos — making it one of the most secure mobile credential solutions available for enterprise access control.
Unlike the HID Mobile Access app which requires the user to open it, Google Wallet credentials let users tap their phone directly at the reader — no app launch, no extra step. The wallet handles everything.
Frictionless AccessEvery Google Wallet mobile credential is powered by HID Seos — with AES-128 encryption, mutual authentication, and signed credential exchange. The same technology as HID's highest-security physical smart cards.
AES-128 SeosGoogle Wallet supports dual-device provisioning — users add their access credential to both their Android phone and a Wear OS smartwatch simultaneously. Wrist-tap access without taking the phone out of a pocket.
Phone + WatchAdministrators issue credentials to employees remotely through the HID Origo Management Portal. Users receive a link to add the badge to Google Wallet — no physical distribution, no face-to-face setup.
100% Remote IssuanceWhen an employee leaves or loses their phone, the administrator revokes the credential instantly from Origo — the mobile badge is immediately deactivated. No physical card to collect, no delays.
One-Click RevokeRemote credential issuance eliminates card printing, distribution logistics, and collection. Environmental life-cycle assessment shows mobile credentials produce 75% less carbon than physical PVC cards.
75% Less CarbonHID Signo and iCLASS SE readers (Wallet-ready models) support Google Wallet mobile credentials natively via NFC — the same readers that already handle physical iCLASS and Seos cards.
Signo + iCLASS SEExisting HID Signo or iCLASS SE readers simply need activation with the organisation's Mobile Keyset — no new reader hardware required if Wallet-ready readers are already installed.
Existing Reader UpgradeVia HID Origo Bridge and SwiftConnect, Google Wallet credentials integrate with C•CURE 9000, Lenel, and other access control platforms — no manual credential management between systems.
ACS IntegrationThe admin creates a HID Origo account and purchases an HID Mobile Access subscription (Essentials or Enterprise). The org receives its Organisation ID and Mobile Keyset.
HID Signo or iCLASS SE readers are activated with the organisation's Mobile Keyset using HID Reader Manager or a Mobile Key Card — enabling them to authenticate Google Wallet credentials.
The admin adds the employee in the Origo portal and sends an invitation. The employee receives an email or notification with a link to add the badge to their Google Wallet.
The employee follows the link and adds the HID credential to Google Wallet on their Android phone. The same credential can be provisioned to a paired Wear OS smartwatch simultaneously.
The user holds their Android phone near the activated Signo or iCLASS SE reader. NFC communicates the Seos credential — the door opens. No app to launch, no extra step required.

Google Wallet credential deployment requires HID Origo setup, reader activation, Mobile Keyset loading, and ACS integration. Cybernetics is the authorised HID partner that handles every layer.
Official HID Networked Access Solutions Partner — authorised to supply HID Mobile Access licenses, Signo readers, and configure Google Wallet credential deployments across India.
From iCLASS cards to Signo readers and now Google Wallet — we have deployed HID across hundreds of Indian sites and understand every integration requirement.
Origo account setup, Mobile Keyset loading on readers, ACS integration via SwiftConnect or Origo Bridge, user enrollment, and ongoing license management — one team, one invoice.
Every reader must be activated with your Mobile Keyset to authenticate Google Wallet credentials. Our engineers activate all readers using HID Reader Manager at your site.
We configure SwiftConnect or HID Origo Bridge to sync Google Wallet credential lifecycle events with your existing ACS — no duplicate data entry between systems.
We supply the HID Mobile Access Essentials or Enterprise subscription and manage renewals — so your Google Wallet credentials stay active without lapses.
